About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at CG Consulting Group. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us drive business growth and decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Generation and Analysis: Prepare and analyze data to support business initiatives, including customer and sales team projects. Derive insights from data analysis and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
  2. Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify risks, issues, and opportunities in business processes and systems related to data generation and management, product and category management, pricing, marketing, and customer support.
  3. Dashboard Management: Create, manage, and publish dashboards to drive data insights and inform business decisions.
  4. Database Management: Manage the overall database of key customer network contact and system information in E1 (and if external to E1).
  5. Customer Product Setup: Execute and support customer product setup, templating, and related initiatives.
  6. Industry Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate industry regulatory and certification documents and related information.
  7. Business Value Identification: Collaborate to identify how to drive business value from in-vehicle/in-equipment data as we expand our product and services into the Connected Business Smart Space.
  8. Customer Data Release: Support the structuring of releases for customer data, information promotions, product, and special announcements through internal digital programs.

Education and Experience

A formal degree is not a requirement for this position; however, a diploma or degree in related areas such as programming, computer sciences, marketing, and/or business administration would be considered helpful, as would related experience.

4-5 years or more of experience would be preferred but is not a specific requirement.

Knowledge of ACES-PIES Standards, Automotive and/or Part Classification Standards, E-Cataloguing/Online/ECommerce Data Management would be helpful, but training will be provided for specific job expectations and related outputs.

Knowledge and Skill Sets Required
  1. Software Competency: Show proficiency in Excel and Word (and/or related platforms), with the ability to become a Power User.
  2. Relational Database Environment: Demonstrate comfort in a relational database environment, with the ability to learn internal BI environment.
  3. Digital Space: Show comfort in a digital space relative to supporting E-Commerce platforms, Web-based environments, app-based technology, etc.
  4. CRM and ERP Platforms: Demonstrate comfort in CRM and ERP platforms, although not required.
  5. Outlook and Teams: Show proficiency in Outlook and Teams, or related email and visual/remote communication platforms.
  6. Strong Written Communication: Demonstrate strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present and share thoughts.
  7. Administrative and Organizational Skills: Show strong administrative and organizational skills.
  8. Programming Language Skills: While not required, a willingness to learn programming languages such as SQL and Java would be beneficial.
Reporting Structure

This position will report directly to the Business Development Manager, a Senior Member of the Canada Management and Leadership Team, and will have an indirect relationship with different aspects of the Canadian and Global IS structure.

This position will work directly and indirectly with others across the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Technical Support, and Inside Sales & Customer Solutions.
