Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze large data sets to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence reporting and dashboard solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage company data and data platforms
  • Advise business stakeholders on data-driven decision making and metrics
  • Design and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies
  • Acquire and maintain data from primary and secondary sources
  • Filter and clean data to ensure accuracy and quality

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience as a Data Analyst with advanced level of computer skills, including SQL and/or SAS, Tableau preferred (and/or Power BI) Reporting, Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Identifying new ideas, techniques, and opportunities for improving effectiveness, performance, and productivity is essential
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Insurance industry experience
