The Lead Financial Strategist role will be integrated within the Technology Finance Team, concentrating on the management of the Wireless CAPEX portfolio. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Technology Finance, the ideal candidate will utilize robust technical and communication abilities to guarantee the precision and promptness of CAPEX reporting. This role is pivotal in the forecasting and variance analysis process, collaborating closely with various stakeholders across multiple cross-functional teams. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute significantly to various ad-hoc special projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Facilitate the financial operations of the organization through the preparation and evaluation of month-end journal entries, forecasts, and budgets.
  2. Deliver insights on financial outcomes and essential business metrics while promoting continuous improvement within the finance team.
  3. Engage with key business partners and finance leadership teams, effectively communicating significant trends, observations, and business implications.
  4. Design and produce dashboards and scorecard reports for management use, assisting in the compilation of monthly reporting packages.
  5. Conduct month-end variance analysis and commentaries against budgets and forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  6. Support financial modeling and decision-making processes that align with strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
  1. A University degree in a business-related discipline (preferably Accounting or Finance), accompanied by a professional accounting designation (CPA) or MBA.
  2. 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance.
  3. Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems such as Oracle.
  4. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational capabilities.
  5. Confidence in engaging with senior leadership and the ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment.
  6. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven track record of engaging with leadership in both business and finance contexts.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and navigate competing priorities under tight deadlines.
