About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available in the Core Technology & Architecture team within IMIT (Information Management and Information Technology) at the First Nations Health Authority. As an Administrative Support Student, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support and contributing to the planning of various projects within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including email correspondence, calendar management, and document preparation.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, including scheduling, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Create visually compelling and professional PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Lead to align messaging and branding across various channels.
  • Support project managers in planning and executing various projects.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on advanced skills in PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of standard administrative procedures and best practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work, ensuring accuracy and quality.
