Associate Vice Provost, Academic Quality and Teaching Innovation Leader

We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Associate Vice Provost, Academic Quality and Teaching Innovation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of academic excellence and innovation at Sheridan College.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of academic quality and teaching innovation strategies that align with the college's vision and mission.
- Provide leadership and direction to faculty and staff in the areas of curriculum development, quality assurance, and faculty development.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to build partnerships and advance the college's reputation for academic excellence and innovation.
- Develop and maintain a culture of innovation and excellence within the college, fostering a community of scholars and practitioners who are committed to advancing teaching and learning.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in academic quality and teaching innovation, and apply this knowledge to inform strategic decisions and initiatives.
- Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a related field.
- Proven track record of successful leadership and innovation in academic quality and teaching innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving shared goals and objectives.
