We are seeking a visionary leader to join our team as the Associate Vice Provost, Academic Quality and Innovation Leader at Sheridan College. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the academic quality and innovation agenda at our institution.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to advance excellence in teaching and learning, and lead the operationalization of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning at Sheridan.
- Develop, implement, and oversee quality academic supports and resources that enhance the teaching and learning environment.
- Collaborate with faculty leaders and deans to ensure consistency and excellence in academic programs and services across the college.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with external constituencies to promote the interests and profile of Sheridan College and its programs.
- Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a related discipline.
- Seasoned administrator and academic leader with a record of successful innovative leadership and experience in teaching and learning, curriculum delivery and design, quality assurance, and faculty development.
- Strong analytical capabilities, insightfulness, and judgement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to increasing accessibility, equity, and diversity, and the ability to maintain an inclusive climate.
