We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Bakery Nakamura.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet production demands.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff: Oversee and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supply requirements, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Lead and Motivate Team: Supervise and motivate a team of 11-15 staff members, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and kitchen helpers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Setting: Bakery environment.
