Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Smash Kitchen and Bar. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet our high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain efficient inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform future purchasing decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
- Assist with immediate settlement needs, including housing, transportation, and childcare.
- Support social and labour market integration through access to community resources, language training, and skills development.
- Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to Indigenous workers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
- Provide cultural competency training to create a welcoming work environment.
This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. English is the primary language of communication.
