Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Smash Kitchen and Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen assistants.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for kitchen operations
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, highlighting areas for improvement
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, with a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
