You are a psychosocial interventionist looking to join a stimulating environment and collaborate with a passionate and dedicated team focused on the well-being of children?

Join our team at the CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal as a Human Relations Agent.

You will be part of a talented and professional team working in a dynamic work environment that presents multiple challenges where you can develop professionally and share your ideas to contribute to the growth of the department.

Our future Human Relations Agent has the following mandate:

  • Intervene with children, adolescents, their families, and substitute living environments to support them in learning and integrating better behaviors;
  • Work with young people presenting behavioral problems, victims of neglect, abandonment, psychological and physical abuse, and sexual abuse;
  • Apply clinical orientations to protect and accompany children whose safety and development are or may be compromised;
  • Support young people under 18 in their development, well-being, and safety. They also act on behalf of young offenders and intervene in adoption and guardianship matters.

Challenges

  • Direction de la protection de la jeunesse DPJ - Évaluation et orientation (É-O)
  • Conduct evaluations of reported situations to determine if the child's safety or development is compromised;
  • Determine the applicable legal framework and protection measures for the child;
  • Ensure the implementation of emergency measures;
  • Write evaluation and orientation reports;
  • Establish necessary collaborations with internal and external partners.
  • Direction du programme jeunesse (DPROGJ) - Application des mesures (A-M)
  • Meet with parents and children under protection;
  • Supervise visits between parents and children;
  • Write various reports (situation evolution/closure of file/for the court).

Requirements

  • Be a member of the Quebec Order of Social Workers and Family Therapists or the Quebec Order of Psychoeducators or the Quebec Order of Criminologists;
  • Be registered on the acquired rights register.

- Diplomas obtained outside Canada require an evaluation of comparative studies issued by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration at the time of application.
