Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1005364 Alberta Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and that they leave the establishment satisfied.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment, fast food outlet, or concession.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work environment.

- Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, and provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Support for Mature Workers: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers, applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination, provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers, and offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for mature workers.
