Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Nam & Kim Services Inc. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective food service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Food Service Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Stand for extended periods, walk, and engage in physically demanding activities as required by the role.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 hours per week.
