Position Overview

We are in search of a proactive Regional HR Business Partner to support our operations. As a pivotal HR leader for our production facilities, you will oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions, ensuring a secure workplace while implementing policies that govern all aspects of HR management. Your role will be essential in fostering a culture of development, empowerment, and teamwork that drives our organization towards outstanding performance.

This position requires a strong presence at our operational sites, with occasional travel to support additional facilities. This is a full-time contract role with a defined duration.

  • Develop, communicate, and enforce HR policies to ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices; stay informed on changes in employment law and adjust policies accordingly.
  • Manage payroll and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations; familiarity with payroll systems is highly desirable.
  • Encourage a positive workplace culture and address employee relations matters with fairness and equity.
  • Work closely with management to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring that our people initiatives enhance operational success.
  • Collaborate with leadership to attract and onboard diverse talent by refining recruitment processes and engaging with educational institutions and industry networks.
  • Promote a culture of excellence through effective performance management practices, coaching leaders to provide constructive feedback and recognition.
  • Guide supervisors in resolving employee relations challenges, including disciplinary actions and promotions.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify trends, make informed decisions, and enhance HR operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions to ensure compliance.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Oversee benefits administration for new hires, terminations, and coverage changes; experience with benefits providers is advantageous.
  • Manage performance evaluations, promotions, and terminations, ensuring accurate reporting for compliance purposes.
  • Facilitate training sessions on HR policies and updates.
  • Coordinate return-to-work plans for employees coming back from leave or injury.
  • Handle workplace safety claims and reporting; experience in claims management is preferred.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline is preferred; however, a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of diverse HR experience in a manufacturing or comparable environment.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, employment standards, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and tools for effective data management and analysis.
