Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Associate to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our Program Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide organizational support for decision-making and project disciplines
  • Work closely with management and project managers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Coordinate and administer projects from initiation to closure
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of project coordination/administration experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset
  • Experience with healthcare information systems and terminology an asset
  • Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or organizational change management an asset
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to generate practical solutions and manage complex environments
Working Conditions
  • Four long-assignment, full-time positions available
  • 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Assignment length approximately 36 months
Compensation and Benefits

$29.91-$37.38 hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a pension plan.
