Job Overview
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a proficient and knowledgeable Combined Lab & X-ray Technologist (CLXT) Supervisor to enhance our team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee the operations at Bella Coola General Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic professional dedicated to advancing healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the activities of technical staff.
- Ensure that high-quality services are delivered to patients and clients.
- Engage in the recruitment process, performance evaluation, and mentoring of team members.
- Collaborate with various departments to effectively address client requirements.
- Prepare reports, troubleshoot issues, and handle inquiries.
- Execute technical responsibilities as necessary.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Completion of a recognized program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology.
- Registration with an accredited provincial professional association.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to mentor, guide, and develop team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with safe operational procedures and equipment handling.
- Proficiency in computer applications and relevant software.
- Physical capability to fulfill job responsibilities.
