About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Combined Lab & Radiology Technologist to join our team at the Heiltsuk Hospital in Bella Bella, BC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine technological duties, maintaining standards, quality control, and instrument maintenance in both the x-ray and lab departments.
  • Work within the Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Team

The Heiltsuk Hospital is a 14-bed facility providing a range of medical services, including laboratory and diagnostic imaging. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist/Technician Program.
  • Experience or program-based instruction in transfusion medicine.
  • Eligibility for membership with the British Columbia Society of Laboratory Science, the Canadian Society of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists, and/or other recognized professional organizations.
