Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Client Services Manager - Rehabilitation Services, the Audiologist functions autonomously as a vital member of a multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team. The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing auditory services for diverse age groups, including infants, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults. Additionally, the Audiologist provides educational and training services to the public, parents, and caregivers.

Required Experience

  • Prior experience in Audiology is preferred.

Educational Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Audiology from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba.
  • Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in assessing, identifying, and treating clients across various age groups with different diagnoses.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Must maintain good physical and mental health, capable of sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods.
  • Able to perform under stress and meet time constraints.

All Health Care Workers must be immunized as a condition of employment, in accordance with Southern Health-Santé Sud policy.
