Position Summary
Reporting to the Client Services Manager - Rehabilitation Services, the Audiologist functions autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team. The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing auditory services for various age groups, including infants, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults. Additionally, the Audiologist provides educational and training services to the public, parents, and caregivers.
Required Experience
- Prior experience in Audiology is preferred.
Educational Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba.
- Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in assessing, identifying, and treating clients across a range of ages and diagnoses.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Physical Requirements
- Must maintain good physical and mental health, capable of sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods.
- Ability to work effectively under stress and time constraints.
