Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at SEVEN M CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality results and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan and direct landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of landscapers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being performed to the highest standards and that all necessary safety protocols are being followed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of landscaping equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order and that any necessary repairs are made promptly.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and to provide regular updates on project progress.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with chain saws, small engine equipment, sod cutters, and tractor mowers.
  • Area of Specialization: Lawn care, tree service, grounds maintenance, landscape construction, and nursery or greenhouse.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and handle heavy loads.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Initiative, judgement, and ability to work as part of a team.
