Hydrogen Technician Instructor

Job Summary:

The College of the North Atlantic is seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach in our Hydrogen Technician program. As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students, developing and implementing curriculum, and assessing student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver instructional materials and assessments to meet course objectives and learning outcomes.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students, including accommodations for students with disabilities.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students, including grading and evaluation.
  • Participate in curriculum development and revision, including staying current with industry developments and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program-wide initiatives and projects.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program assessments and evaluations.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching and learning skills.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or education, or a Bachelor's degree with significant industry experience.
  • Proven teaching experience in a post-secondary setting, with a focus on hydrogen technology or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of hydrogen technology and industry developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on student success and program excellence.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will be required to work on campus, with occasional travel to industry sites and conferences.
