Job Summary

The Nursing Clerk will provide administrative support to the Assistant Director of Resident Care, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of care plans and charts. This temporary part-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Assistant Director of Resident Care in auditing care plans and ensuring consistency and completeness
  • Support the Assistant Director of Resident Care in auditing charts by following a checklist
  • Perform other nursing-related tasks as assigned by the Assistant Director of Resident Care

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Registered Nurse (RN) program, with a preference for completion of the 2nd year or above
  • Excellent data entry skills and proficiency in computer software applications, such as Word and Excel
  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to speak Chinese as an asset
  • Relevant satisfactory work performance

Working Conditions

  • Temporary part-time position for 1 year, with possibility of extension
