Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at Mariposa Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, examining patients, and planning physiotherapy programs. You will also select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations, and maintain clinical and progress reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans to address their needs
    • Examine patients to identify areas of injury or dysfunction
    • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to promote recovery and rehabilitation
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress
    • Update records regularly to reflect changes in patient status or treatment plans
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
    • Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a physiotherapy setting
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Personal Qualities
    • Strong commitment to patient-centered care
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
