Territory Sales Executive

JOB OVERVIEW
As a pivotal member of our team, the District Sales Manager (DSM) will report directly to the Regional Commercial Manager (RCM) overseeing South & Central America and the Caribbean. The DSM is tasked with spearheading the commercial initiatives across all product lines within designated markets. This role is crucial in ensuring that local market insights are effectively communicated back to the organization, thereby influencing the global business strategy for the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate and realize commercial goals and benchmarks (revenue – market penetration – distributor growth – etc.) for business partners in each market under the DSM's purview.
- Establish and nurture a robust and profitable distributor network for all product offerings within the district.
- Conduct thorough research and assessment to identify and recommend new distributors to the Commercial Manager, enhancing market coverage for each product line and driving growth within the District.
- Convey business plan objectives and priorities to distributor dealers, aiding in the creation of a localized business plan that outlines key goals, priorities, and success factors for each assigned market. Ensure alignment of local business plans with the overarching global strategy.
- Evaluate business partner performance throughout the year to ensure alignment with business plan objectives, proposing corrective measures as necessary. Maintain ongoing oversight of global business partner engagement, performance, and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of the strategic business plan for the region in collaboration with the RCM, Marketing Advisor, and other management team members.
- Facilitate feedback to the organization and pinpoint essential priorities for market development. Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure effective communication and realization of business plan objectives.
- Analyze and identify sales and marketing opportunities to enhance policy efficiency and recommend budget allocations that optimize marketing strategies and sales performance.
- Work in tandem with the marketing department to ensure adherence to brand management standards, product positioning strategies, and dealer development guidelines, while recognizing the unique characteristics of each market.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the automotive, motorcycle, or equivalent power sports industry.
- Proficient communication skills in both English and Spanish, essential for effective interaction.
- Competent in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other related software applications.
