Join ICB - I CARE BEST INC. as a dedicated Healthcare Support Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients. Your compassionate care and support will make a significant difference in their daily experiences.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with meal service and support patients during feeding.
- Provide physical assistance by lifting, turning, and positioning patients as needed.
- Facilitate communication by delivering messages and documents between departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, including bed-making.
- Oversee and encourage patients' exercise routines.
- Administer basic medical procedures such as suppositories and enemas.
- Manage inventory and ensure availability of medical supplies.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Transport patients safely between various care settings.
- Respond promptly to patient call signals to address their needs.
- First Aid Certification
- CPR Certification
This is a permanent position requiring 35 to 40 hours per week of dedicated service. The primary language of communication in this role is English.
