About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at TECHINI SYSTEMS INC. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Provide access to computer networks, ensure network security, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • System Monitoring: Report on the performance of computer systems and networks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • User Support: Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, providing technical assistance and guidance.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents, performing backup procedures to ensure data preservation.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Shell script, networking software, networking hardware, networking security, extranet, intranet, internet, servers, desktop applications, spreadsheet, TCP/IP, wireless networks.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, excellent oral communication, initiative, organized, ability to multitask, time management, honesty.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. They will be required to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and sit for extended periods.

Language and Work Conditions

The language of work is English, and the work conditions include a 35-hour workweek.
