About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at Dirox Canada Limited. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical assistance to our clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide timely and effective solutions to technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Problem-Solving: Research and implement solutions to complex technical problems, utilizing technical manuals, user guides, and other resources as needed.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to users on the effective use of computer systems and software, as well as best practices for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Log Management: Maintain a comprehensive log of technical issues and solutions, providing valuable insights for future technical support efforts.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical support services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong background in computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our clients and internal stakeholders.
