ResearchNB is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive the strategic direction of the organization.
About the RoleThe Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within ResearchNB.
- Develop and implement the organization's strategic plan, aligning with the Board of Directors' vision and goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including academic institutions, industry leaders, government agencies, and other partners.
- Represent ResearchNB at regional, national, and international forums, promoting the organization's initiatives and achievements.
- Provide regular updates to the Board of Directors on strategic initiatives, organizational performance, and financial status.
- Ensure ResearchNB meets or exceeds its performance targets annually and reports to the Department of Post-Secondary Education & Labor (PETL) quarterly.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific research, innovation management, and organizational leadership.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., PhD, MBA, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of the research and innovation ecosystem, including knowledge of funding mechanisms, policy frameworks, and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, including both oral and written communication, is required. Proficiency in French is a desirable asset.
