About the Role

The University of New Brunswick is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead the Wallace McCain Institute (WMI) in its mission to build and nurture a community of entrepreneurial business leaders in North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the Institute's mission and objectives
  • Oversee program development, financial management, and regional expansion
  • Cultivate and expand the Institute's network of entrepreneurial leaders, mentors, and partners
  • Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding the Institute's performance and future direction
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and University policies
Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience in a senior executive role, preferably in a nonprofit, educational institution, or entrepreneurial organization
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, program development, and financial management
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in managing and expanding membership-based organizations or networks is highly desirable
