Position Overview

We are in search of a driven and seasoned User Experience Design Lead to become a vital part of our Player Account Management division. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and overseeing a team of designers while shaping the overall user experience of our offerings. The ideal candidate demonstrates empathy, possesses a fervor for design, and exhibits a strong capability to tackle intricate challenges.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Motivate and mentor a group of product designers throughout the entire product development process.
  • Work in tandem with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to outline and prioritize product functionalities.
  • Play a key role in defining the product roadmap and assist designers in addressing various user challenges by utilizing the double-diamond design methodology and frameworks such as Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) to develop user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Ensure adherence to the design vision, strategy, and objectives for the products under your team's purview.
  • Advocate for and demonstrate the significance of UX throughout the organization by collaborating with researchers, product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders.
  • Assist in attracting and retaining exceptional design talent while promoting continuous growth within the team.
  • Cultivate a collaborative, safe, and trustworthy environment for every team member, while thoughtfully considering opportunities to enhance team and organizational processes.

Qualifications We Seek

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team of product designers.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing experience in product design, including a strong understanding of native mobile and web design patterns, as well as design systems.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities, with a knack for critical thinking and problem-solving alongside cross-functional teams, always considering the business implications of design to advance the company's strategy.
  • Proven experience in fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative atmosphere for designers to excel in their work.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma).
  • A solid grasp of iOS and Android design patterns and conventions.
