WPI Canada is seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Mechanic Assistant to support our team in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
  • Assist tradespeople, apprentices, and other staff as instructed.

  • Perform various labor-intensive tasks as required.
  • Support mechanics and execute additional duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in installation, maintenance, or repair.
Physical Demands
  • Physically demanding tasks requiring manual dexterity.

  • Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a large workload.
