Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Operations Leader will oversee the daily functions of a dynamic Warehouse team. This pivotal role within our Operations department focuses on discovering innovative, efficient, and cost-effective methods to enhance productivity and must inspire enthusiasm for implementing necessary changes.

We seek a seasoned professional who will serve as the Operations Manager's trusted partner and support. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of driving transformation, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and motivating others to adapt and excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the daily activities of the Warehouse teams by organizing and executing workloads according to various schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations while fostering a positive safety culture.
  • Champion continuous process improvement through KAIZEN and LEAN methodologies.
  • Oversee the accurate receipt and documentation of all incoming materials in the ERP system (SysPro).
  • Guarantee timely and cost-effective shipping of all finished products.
  • Effectively manage team members to achieve high standards of quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment before, during, and after each shift (5S).
  • Address employee concerns and issues, including completing incident reports and submitting them to the appropriate channels.
  • Manage employee attendance and accurately update hours in the payroll system (PayWorks).
  • Support daily and weekly staffing requirements to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Facilitate the hiring, onboarding, and training processes for new employees.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a production or warehouse environment.
  • Strong familiarity with continuous improvement concepts (Lean/Kaizen) is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Syspro, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:
