Position Summary:

In the role of Warehouse Supervisor, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and oversee the daily functions of a dynamic Warehouse team. This pivotal position within our Operations department is focused on discovering innovative, efficient, and cost-effective methods to enhance productivity while fostering an environment that embraces change and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the daily activities of the Warehouse teams by strategically planning and executing workloads according to various schedules.
  • Uphold Health and Safety regulations while cultivating a positive Safety culture.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement through KAIZEN and LEAN methodologies.
  • Ensure accurate receipt and documentation of all inbound materials in the ERP system (SysPro).
  • Oversee the timely and cost-effective shipping of all finished goods.
  • Manage team performance to achieve exceptional quality, productivity, and efficiency levels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment (5S principles).
  • Address employee concerns and issues, including completing incident reports and submitting them to the appropriate channels.
  • Oversee employee attendance and accurately update hours in the payroll system (PayWorks).
  • Support daily and weekly staffing requirements to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
  • Facilitate the hiring, onboarding, and training processes for new team members.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a production or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts (Lean/Kaizen) is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Syspro, is a plus.
