Position Summary:

In the role of Warehouse Supervisor, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and oversee the daily functions of a dynamic Warehouse team. We seek a seasoned professional who will serve as the Operations Manager's trusted right-hand and backup. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of driving transformation, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging atmosphere, and inspiring others to embrace similar adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the daily activities of the Warehouse teams by strategizing and executing workloads according to diverse schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations while cultivating a positive safety culture.
  • Champion a continuous improvement mindset utilizing KAIZEN and LEAN principles.
  • Oversee the accurate receipt and documentation of all incoming materials in the ERP system (SysPro).
  • Guarantee timely and cost-effective shipping of all finished products.
  • Effectively manage team members to achieve optimal quality, productivity, and efficiency levels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment (5S) at all times.
  • Address employee concerns and issues, including the completion of incident reports and relevant documentation for submission to appropriate parties.
  • Manage employee attendance and accurately update hours in the payroll system (PayWorks).
  • Support staffing requirements on a daily and weekly basis to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Facilitate the hiring, onboarding, and training processes for new team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a production or warehouse context.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Kaizen) is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Syspro, is a plus.
