A Patient Sitter is a vital member of our team at Alio Health Services, providing essential support to patients in need of companionship and care. As a Patient Sitter, you will be responsible for creating a comfortable and safe environment for patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as reading, watching TV, or engaging in hobbies
  • Monitor patients for extended periods, reporting any concerns or observations to the patient's assigned nurse
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all confidentiality agreements
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High degree of patience and empathy
  • Proficient in technology and able to use proprietary software
  • Current CPR certificate and recent police check for the vulnerable sector
  • Negative TB test from within the last year
  • Mobile device and access to the internet
