Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Team Lead to join our team at Schnitzer Steel Canada Ltd. As a Sales Team Lead, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, leading a team of sales professionals, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Sales Team: Supervise and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Team Development: Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to sales team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all sales and customer service standards are met.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of sales leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or a related field an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
