About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ishop Pinas Filipino Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Monitor Store Entrance and Exits: Verify customer proof of payment, monitor lottery ticket sales, and ensure compliance with age restrictions for tobacco and alcohol products.
Requirements
  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
