Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Veer & Sons Flooring Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents.
- Contract Management: Manage contracts, including preparing and sending contracts, tracking deadlines, and ensuring compliance.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training and development strategies to enhance the skills of our team members.
- Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks, including updating databases and spreadsheets.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues.
- Recruitment and Hiring: Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
- Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews, including evaluating employee performance and providing feedback.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, including ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
- Physical Accessibility: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, including ramps, elevators, and accessible parking.
- Visual Accessibility: Provide visual accessibility accommodations, including braille, screen readers, and large print materials.
- Auditory Accessibility: Provide auditory accessibility accommodations, including transcription software, teletypewriters, and sign language interpreters.
- Disability Support: Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, including mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Settlement Support: Assist with immediate settlement needs, including housing, transportation, and childcare.
- Language Training: Facilitate access to language training, including English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.
- Skills Training: Facilitate access to skills training, including job training and certification programs.
- Recruitment: Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
- Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Mentorship: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.
- Youth Employment: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
- On-the-Job Training: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Mentorship: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth.
- Veteran Support: Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans.
- Mentorship: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Veterans.
- Transition Support: Assist with immediate transition needs, including relocation and housing.
- Workshops and Counseling: Offer workshops, counseling services, or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce.
- Indigenous Support: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
- Mentorship: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
- Mature Worker Support: Participate in government or community programs that support mature workers.
- Hiring Policies: Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
- Mentorship: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for mature workers.
- Phased Retirement: Offer phased retirement options that allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload.
- Visible Minority Support: Participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities.
- Hiring Policies: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
- Mentorship: Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
