Role Responsibilities:
Are you seeking a fulfilling role that allows you to utilize your skills and inspire future generations? As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering swim lessons to children and adults, starting from as young as 3 months, using our engaging and progressive teaching methods. Extensive training will be provided to enhance your confidence and capability in working with swimmers of varying abilities. Engaging with our students and ensuring a fun learning environment is a key aspect of this role. You will focus on imparting essential survival swim techniques, aligning with our mission to significantly reduce drowning incidents.

Your Key Duties Include:
  • Assist the Aquatics Manager and/or Business Owner(s)
  • Adhere to British Swim School's curriculum to guarantee safe and effective lessons
  • Work during evenings (3pm-7pm), weekends (8am-1pm), and holidays as required
  • Maintain necessary certifications throughout your employment
  • Operate in an environment with moderate to high noise levels and remain in the water for extended periods
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Enthusiastic and positive demeanor
  • Comfortable in aquatic environments; strong swimming skills are advantageous but can be developed
  • Commitment to maintaining certifications throughout employment
  • Completion of all required British Swim School Aquatics-specific training
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children
  • 1-2 years of swimming experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Customer service experience: 1 year preferred
  • Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certifications preferred (can be obtained during training)
