Who we are looking for

We are seeking a highly qualified and seasoned Cyber Audit, Assistant Vice President to become a part of our worldwide cyber audit division. To excel in this position, you must possess a comprehensive understanding of cyber risk management processes, controls, and industry benchmarks, along with a robust knowledge of NIST, MITRE, and Defense in Depth principles. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with colleagues in infrastructure, security, and application audits while working within a diverse global team. Cooperation with the bank's cybersecurity division is crucial. In this role, you will be part of a developing team dedicated to establishing leading practices, reporting functionally to the Vice President of Cyber Audit.

What you will be responsible for

As Cyber Audit Assistant Vice President, your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the planning, assessment, testing, and reporting phases of cyber audits and cyber-focused validation activities. Collaborating as part of an international team, working closely with global peers in infrastructure, security, application, and business audits. Maintaining an in-depth understanding of cyber risks, regulatory changes related to cyber, and innovative assurance methodologies. Cultivating and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, including the bank's cybersecurity division. Effectively communicating audit progress, findings, and recommendations to senior management. Preparing and reviewing audit documentation to ensure adherence to the division's audit standards.

Experience in leading and supervising audit initiatives, preferably within the global financial services sector. Proficiency in assessing cyber risks and evaluating internal controls while employing risk-based testing methodologies. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and build relationships with global stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills across all levels, combined with effective problem-solving, conceptual thinking, quantitative, and analytical abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. Advanced project management capabilities. Proficiency in English - both written and spoken.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred. Over 5 years of experience in auditing information security or cyber risk management. Audit or assurance experience in the banking or financial services sector or other regulated industries. Expertise in assessing cybersecurity risks and the ability to formulate and implement effective audit testing strategies with a solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for the banking sector. Strong knowledge of Cyber and Cloud technologies, Identity and Access Management, Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) technologies, and incident response processes. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM, are highly preferred.

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $132,500 Annual
