Key Responsibilities
As the Cyber Audit Assistant Vice President, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the planning, evaluation, testing, and reporting phases of cyber audits and validation activities focused on cybersecurity.
- Collaborating with an international team, working closely with global peers in infrastructure, security, and application and business audits.
- Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of cyber risks, regulatory changes, and innovative assurance methodologies.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization, including the bank's cybersecurity division.
- Effectively communicating audit progress, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
- Preparing and reviewing audit documentation to ensure adherence to the division's audit standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

- Proven experience in leading and managing audit projects, preferably within the global financial services sector.
- Expertise in assessing cyber risks and evaluating internal controls using risk-based testing methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while fostering relationships with global stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills across all organizational levels, coupled with effective problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Advanced project management capabilities.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Educational Background and Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience in auditing information security or cyber risk management.
- Experience in audit or assurance roles within the banking or financial services industry or other regulated sectors.
- Strong expertise in evaluating cybersecurity risks and developing effective audit testing strategies, with a solid understanding of regulatory compliance for the banking industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Cyber and Cloud technologies, Identity and Access Management, Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) technologies, and incident response processes.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are highly desirable.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $132,500 Annual
The salary range mentioned applies to the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable range may differ.
