About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Mezzanote Cafe Inc. as a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Operate conventional ovens, deep fryers, food dispensers, and grills to prepare menu items.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet production demands and ensure timely service.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering of supplies to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
  • Develop attention to detail and maintain a high level of quality control in food preparation and presentation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in an urban area and willingness to travel.
  • Availability to work overtime as required.
  • Physical ability to handle loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
