Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing operational procedures, managing staff performance, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Cost Control

Develop a budget to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and ensure that expenses are managed effectively.

Operations Management

Evaluate daily operations, monitor staff performance, and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless service delivery.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that stock is always available and that waste is minimized.

Health and Safety

Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times, and that the cafe is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
