We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at ByWard Cafe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our cafe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on stock levels, sales, and wastage.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • We are committed to supporting newcomers and refugees in their transition to Canada. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a key role in this process by providing diversity and cross-cultural training to our staff.
Support for Indigenous People
