Cafe 1274 Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Cafe 1274.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy cafe.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and materials to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure we have the right team in place to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met in all aspects of food preparation and service.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates to ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management to ensure we are meeting our goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • 40 hours per week.
