Centre for Spanish Speaking Peoples Board Member Opportunity

The Centre for Spanish Speaking Peoples (CSSP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the Latinx/Hispanic community in Ontario. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our Board of Directors and contribute to our mission-driven governance.

About the Role

As a Board member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of CSSP, collaborating with our Executive Director to advance our mission and long-term goals. Your expertise and insights will help guide our strategic direction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs that meet the evolving needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advisory support to the Executive Director
  • Approve the annual budget, audit reports, and major business decisions
  • Collaborate with the Board to shape the organization's strategic direction
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality programs that meet the evolving needs of the Latinx/Hispanic community
Requirements

We are seeking individuals with broad expertise in areas such as fundraising, non-profit management, finance and accounting, community development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Your experience and skills will help drive our organization's growth and impact.
