Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing field repairs, scheduling and supervising field mechanics on construction equipment, and ensuring the efficient and timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor mechanics/welders in the field to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
- Schedule and oversee repairs and preventative maintenance of construction equipment, including fleet vehicles, skid steers, excavators, and paving equipment.
- Assist mechanics with troubleshooting and diagnosing problems to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Collaborate with other personnel within the maintenance department to ensure seamless service and repair operations.
- Work with personnel across other departments to ensure organizational needs are met and equipment is available when required.
- Heavy Duty Technician license.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role.
- Previous production facility experience, such as asphalt plant, concrete plant, gravel yard, and crusher.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment fit-to-work medical assessment.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and Clean 5-year Commercial Abstract.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Strong work ethic.
