About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Cleaning and Maintenance Operations to join our team at RB Maintenance & Cleaning Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance operations of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning and maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning and maintenance staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment, and recommend these to management.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules for cleaning and maintenance staff to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in cleaning and maintenance
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
