About the Role

Stericycle is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients, upselling and cross-selling our services to existing clients, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing clients to sell our services and products.
  • Acquire new clients and convert existing clients through prospecting, marketing campaigns, and referrals.
  • Utilize consultative selling strategies to achieve a minimum of 100% of assigned sales targets and quotas.
  • Build a pipeline of potential future business through prospecting via marketing campaigns, territory lists, the internet, and other identified sources.
  • Verify all prospects and calls through our customer relationship management (CRM) tool, determining if another sales representative is currently engaged or has contacted the account, if the prospect is within your assigned territory, and/or which service is best suited to manage the prospect.
  • Utilize the internet and other resources to better understand the client's industrial and commercial needs.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned performance metrics and key expectations, including the number of outbound calls, closure rates, average order size, and task management activities (i.e., sales cycle, pipeline, and case management).
  • Make accurate and timely sales forecasts, with a variance of less than 5% from actual results.
  • Target opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional Shred-it products and services.
  • Utilize our technology-based CRM tool to track prospects, manage the sales cycle, pipeline, forecasting, and lost opportunity tracking. Maintain complete and accurate notes in the system.
  • Qualify clients through consultative selling strategies.
  • Support and assist with other assigned projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Fluency in French for communication with our clients.
  • A bachelor's degree in sales/marketing or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales/marketing, demonstrating the ability to manage and develop existing and potential accounts.
  • Must have experience with customer relations, support, and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to learn the company's billing/facturing client database software, product and service features at different levels of account options.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Knowledge of a CRM tool is preferred.
  • The candidate must be bilingual - English primary (to serve our English-speaking clients) and French (Canadian) secondary.
