SIU Investigator - Part Time Position

The SIU department at Xpera Atténuation Des Risques Et Enquêtes provides specialized investigative services, technical expertise, and resources to clients nationally. This part-time SIU Investigator position is based in Kingston, Ontario, and involves conducting in-depth and specialized investigations beyond the scope of clients' in-house capabilities. The successful candidate will possess 15+ years of investigative experience, ideally in regulatory, workplace investigations, insurance claims, and theft investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses
  • Apply knowledge of legal processes and evidence collection to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • Prepare and conduct recorded interviews, summarizing evidence and analytical assessments
  • Develop and implement effective solutions or recommendations to clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalency in training
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new programs
  • Valid Ontario Private Investigators license
  • Willingness to travel and valid driver's license
