The SIU department at Xpera Atténuation Des Risques Et Enquêtes provides investigative services and technical expertise to clients nationally. This part-time SIU Investigator position is based in Kingston, Ontario, and involves conducting investigations where a more in-depth and specialized approach is required. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of investigative experience, preferably in regulatory, workplace investigations, insurance claims, and theft investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses
- Develop and implement investigation plans, ensuring compliance with legal processes and regulations
- Prepare and conduct recorded interviews, summarizing evidence and analytical assessments
- Provide solid and supportable conclusions and recommendations to clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve investigation goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education or equivalency in training
- Computer literacy and ability to learn new programs
- Valid Ontario Private Investigators license
- Willingness to travel and valid driver's license
